RIDES & Events

If weather is bad, rides will be rescheduled

VCP will always announce group rides on our Facebook page, through this page, email list and on our Calendar tab. Lead time may be a bit short in the Fall and Winter and we’ll likely focus on weekend days as I know schedules during the work week and school year are very busy (self included) and it gets dark at noon (well, it SEEMS like it does). Stay tuned.

April

April 21 with Portland Scooter Club–PDX/SC

Meeting up on Sunday 4/21 @ 11am @ the parking lot opposite Two Stoke Coffee at 8517 N. Lombard in St. Johns, Portland.

Scoot-off @ 11:30. Putt-putting around gorgeous curvy and wooded roads like NW Moreland, Far-out NW Skyline and NW Beck… a ride of about 37 miles (1 1/2 hours or so). Yes, we will do a stop at the ginormous wooden train bridge. Ending up at the delicious Helvetia Tavern for lunch.
– This will require a scoot which can do a solid 40mph and some inclines;
– Please come with a full tank of gas;
-Wear layers… it’s supposed to be a lovely day in the mid/high 60s, but we’ll be riding in some shaded areas;
-The Helvatia Tavern DOES NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC. They do have an onsite atm, but best to bring cash. 🙂
